It was first known as Home Bureau Federation, for farm wives. Today, standing approximately 11,000 members strong statewide, we are the Monroe County Home & Community Education. Our goal is to provide education to promote social and economic well being in our homes, neighborhoods and communities. We are not our Mother’s Home Bureau anymore.
Through the years, our organization has changed to continue to progress with the current times, trends and needs. HCE continues to cross the boundaries when providing unique, wholesome and inventive ideas for our lessons and programs, providing members the opportunity to learn current and relevant information.
Our Mission Statement
